Class Offerings for the Summer 2026 are listed below. Returning students may register starting April 6 through the Student Portal. New Student registration is available through the links below. If the class you want is full please add your child to the waitlist! Classes start the week of June 8th and run through July 16th.
Toddler Creative Movement (with parent) (18 months - 3 yrs)
(30 minutes, non-recital)
Explorer Classes (3 & 4 year olds)
Shooting Stars (5 & 6 year olds)
This class is designed for 5 and 6 year old students. Classes at this level allow students to explore dance technique and dramatic curriculum. We will explore levels, shapes, and rhythms. Students will learn short routines in tap, ballet, and jazz to hopefully find out what they enjoy the most and what classes they want to continue taking. (pink ballet and black tap shoes required) (45 minutes)
Tumble Time
This class is a tumbling class open to 3, 4 and 5 year olds who are active. This class focuses on beginning gymnastics such as rolls, crab walks, bridges, cartwheels, and building strength and coordination. Students will work on the mats, mini trampoline and mini beam, bar and wedge and octagon mat. (45 minutes) (gymnastics leotard required for girls, gym shorts and t-shirt for boys)
Gymnastics
(5 years old and up or by teachers recommendation) (gymnastics leotard required for class for girls, gym clothes for boys)
For ages 5 and up. Class will be taught to individually work with each student at their level. Tumbling, mini-trampoline, bars and beam will be focused on in this class. The serious gymnast to the recreational one will benefit from this class. (45-60 minutes)
For 2024-2025 acro will be incorporated into the gymnastics classes with students exhibiting extra strength and flexibility. Partnering tricks and lifts will also be included if the instructor deems students strong enough to do so.
Beginning = Starting cartwheels and mastering rolls
Intermediate 1 = Cartwheels, roundoffs and handstands
Intermediate 2 = Limbers and walkovers
Advanced = Walkovers, handsprings and aeirals
Ballet
(First grade and up or by teachers recommendation) Ballet is a poised and graceful dance form that requires discipline and patience. Classes are split up into barre, center work, stretch, strengthening and ballet combinations. Instructors will place students according to years studying dance and ability. (pink ballet slippers, pink tights and black leotard required) (45-60 minutes)
Tap
(First grade and up or by teachers recommendation) Our Tap program offers skill development from beginner through advanced levels. These classes work proper technique, sound breakdown and traveling steps. A typical class begins with a leg and ankle warm-up, followed by progression work and a center combination. We focus on rhythm and timing, which is an essential part of a tappers training. (30-45 minutes) (black tap shoes required)
Jazz
(First grade and up or by teachers recommendation) Jazz is a fun and upbeat style of dance for those with lots of energy. Our classes include warm-up, across the floor work and center combinations. Students can expect fun, and high-energy music. (30-45 minutes) (black jazz shoes required)
Contemporary
(one year of ballet is a prerequisite)
Contemporary style of dance uses technique from ballet, jazz and modern, while putting focus on using one’s body to express emotions. We will explore the connection between the precision of technique and the freedom and musicality of our bodies while creating movement with meaning. (45 minutes) (tan contemporary shoes required)
Hip Hop
Hip Hop is a “funky” type of dance. It is similar to what is seen in music videos or at concerts. Hip Hop is focused on rhythm and coordination. It concentrates on the beat in the music and just letting your body move. It’s all about having fun and letting loose. (black hip hop shoes required)

Spotlight Summer Camp Fun!
Pom & Tumble Camp - Ages 6-10 • June 2 @ 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Calling all cheerleaders! Bring your team spirit and get ready to jump, cheer and tumble! Pom and Tumble Camp is a high-energy camp where students will learn pom routines, fun cheer-style combos and beginner tumbling. Wear your favorite team colors and be ready to cheer them to victory!
Moana & Stitch Island Dance Party - Ages 3-7 • June 8 @ 9:30-11:30 a.m.
This tropical themed, high-energy camp will be filled with music, movement and crafts! Wear your favorite beachwear and be ready to learn choreography to music from the films and make creative crafts with friends.
Dance Conditioning & Stretch - Ages 10 & Up • June 11@ 6:30-8:00 pm.
Attention dancers who want to improve their strength and flexibility! Join us for a workshop about dance conditioning (strength/stability) and safe stretching techniques to improve flexibility and prevent injury. Included areas of focus are core strength, joint flexibility and dynamic/static stretching of major muscle groups.
Shimmering Swiftie Summer - Ages 5-10 • June 18 @ 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Calling all passionate and loyal Taylor Swift fans! Come live out your pop star dreams and dance to some of your favorite hits! Dress in your favorite Swiftie Era and learn both jazz and hip hop style choreography, along with some of the most popular dances from new releases like Opalite.
Spotlight Superstar Camp - Ages 1st Grade & Up • June 4 @ 5:30-7:30 p.m.
Is your child interested in it all, or not sure what style to choose? Then this is the perfect opportunity for them! These two-hour sessions include a half-hour each of ballet, tap, jazz and gymnastics. This is a great way to check out the different styles offered at the Spotlight and see which style fits your child’s interest and personality best.
Go for the Gold with Gymnastics! - Ages 5 & Up • July 14 @ 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Do you have an active student that wants to participate in a fun and exciting evening of gymnastics, Olympic style? This is the perfect session for those just starting out in gymnastics or those wanting to improve their gymnastics flexibility and skills. Students will work on tumbling, bars and beam during this two-hour session. Don’t miss out! Leotards or gym shorts and tank tops preferred.
K-Pop Demon Hunters - Ages 6-10 • June19 @ 9:30-11:30 a.m.
Get ready to slay the stage! This camp uses imagination, storytelling, and character play to bring high-energy choreography to life, all to the soundtrack of your favorite K-Pop stars. Perfect for dancers who love bold jazz and hip hop style moves or those willing to try something new with big energy and creativity!
Frozen & Friends - Ages 3-6 – June 22 @ 10:30-11:30 a.m.
Frozen and Friends summer camp will feature dancing and singing inspired by Frozen films. Dancers will explore fun dance styles, imaginative games, and themed crafts with their favorite winter friends. This camp is perfect for building confidence, coordination, and friendships. Join us in this snowy world of sparkle and giggles.
Ninjas at The Spotlight - Ages 5-10 • July 9 @ 10-11 a.m.
Ninja camp will provide the high-energy student with an hour of action-packed fun! The Spotlight will transform their gym into the ultimate ninja course, which is sure to test strength, coordination and endurance. Activities include navigating obstacle courses, rope climbing, jumping and swinging from the bars. This camp combines fitness with games, themed activities, and team work.
Zootopia Mania - Ages 4-8 • July 23 @ 10-11:30 a.m.
Zootopia inspired camp will include both dance and gymnastics. Learn fun dances, make crafts and tumble with us as we focus on themes of “trying everything,” inclusivity and teamwork. Wear your favorite animal print and come ready to move and groove with us!
